Choosing a Mop System.

There are two basic categories.

1. Flat mops of which there are a number of choices

2. Kentucky or Monsoon string mops with various wringer and bucket systems.

Flat Mops.

These are now becoming the most popular type of mops as they are easier to use, more effective and more hygienic than the Kentucky Mop.

Especially valuable in environments such as hospitals and schools, nurseries and catering establishments.

Monsoon or Kentucky Mops.

These are the traditional string mops that operate with wringer and bucket. Ideal for non-food premises and large areas, factory floors for example.

Sweeper Mops.

Much more effective than a brush for sweeping the floor before mopping and avoid the problem of creating dust with brushing.

Much faster than brushing and produces much better results.

Carpet Sweepers.

Great for quick removal of crumbs and debris and keeping carpets and hard floors clean in between vacuuming. So quiet they can be used in restaurants with diners in-situ for preparing around the next table etc.

Wet Floor Signs.

An absolute must for use where floors may still be damp from cleaning or mopping and also to block off areas in the process of being cleaned.

An essential part of the health and safety kit to avoid unnecessary accident and possible prosecution, especially in in areas accessible to the public.

Rotary Bonnet Mops.

These attachments allow you to use your rotary scrubbing machine as an electric mopping system to speed up the mopping process.

Especially valuable for use on large floor areas.
